Garfield Heights, OH: Preschool Speech-Language Pathologist (Contract)

Job Description

Calling on Speech-Language Pathologists based in Cleveland, OH that are seeking a contract assignment to work with preschool students! Soliant has partnered with a small, local school district near Garfield Heights, and is seeking SLPs for the remainder of the school year.

Primary responsibilities as follows:

Assess children in preschool programs who are referred for possible speech and language needs.

Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders.

Develop individualized education plans and present them to parents and school staff

Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns.

Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload.

Provide reports of a student’s progress to parents.

Up-to-date knowledge of Ohio Special Education procedures and best practices for SLPs working with children aged 3-4

Requirements:

Ohio SLP license

Clearances mandated by the Ohio Department of Education
