Rework Technician - Growth Opportunities

Job Description

Must have proven ability to obtain and pass established internal soldering exercises.

Set up station with the correct tools/fixtures and components per assembly/process drawings.

Ability to work under magnification to perform work tasks (Camera, microscope, or magnification lamps)

Read and understand assembly drawings and work instructions.

Monitors quality in accordance with established quality specifications.

Handle, trim, and adjust small single conductor wires without damaging outside conductor jackets using tweezers or other small hand equipment.

Knowledge of different processes (lead and lead free) fluxes, solder, and cleaning solvents.

Adjust or trim materials from components to achieve specified electrical requirements or dimensional characteristics.

Connect component lead wires to solder junctions or route and connect wires between individual component leads and other components, connectors, terminals, and contact points.

Perform defluxion or cleaning of solder joint using necessary equipment.

Must be able to read/write and effectively communicate in English.

Must be able to utilize instrumentation (DMM and Power supply) equipment to check product conformity after soldering operations have been performed.

Document inspection results (if applicable) and process jobs in the appropriate sections of our MES system.
