Description
is bringing on 2 individuals to assist with the influx of tickets they are receiving (broken chromebooks due to students traveling from virtual to in-person learning, troubleshooting due to new application with COVID, new school builds, new device swapouts etc.) These technicians will work directly with the Lead Field Technicians to support a portfolio of schools (typically 8-10) in a zone. Technicians should be good at following directions, able to work in a group and independently, and have previous hands-on computer experience.

Additional Information
Technicians will be driving their own vehicle from school to school in their zone. Mileage will be paid out at the standard IRS rate ($0.56/mile). The school district will work to place technicians supporting schools local to their residence, but there is no guarantee.
Technicians will be released from the contract based on work completion and performance. The top performers will be kept on contract the longest.

Short term desktop support position supporting a well known company.

School District is the second largest district in the State, supporting over 50,000 students across 88 schools. The district supports urban, suburban and rural schools across 1,000 square miles in the Lowcountry. This is a great, short-term opportunity for individuals to help the district prepare for the upcoming 2020-2021 school year. We have placed dozens of consultants many of which have been extended or converted to FTE\'s.
Work Environment
This is a field position - technicians will be in multiple schools each day and will interact with the staff and administration. Hours are 7:00 - 3:30 M - F.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
These technicians should be professional, personable and able to interact with non-technical individuals (teachers, students, staff and administration) in the various schools.
Common sense, punctuality, professionalism, and attendance are extremely important. The leads have no issue teaching technical skills; however, they do not want to deal with issues with work ethic.

Without these technicians, the school will not be able to accomplish what they need to ensure school technology is working optimally.
