CNC Machinist 2nd Shift

Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machinery to fabricate metal components as specified by blueprints, layouts, and templates.

Conduct routine inspections of machines to ensure proper functioning and adherence to safety protocols.

Adjust machine settings to optimize the machining process, ensuring products meet precision specifications.

Collaborate with quality control teams to identify defects and make adjustments during production cycles.

Record and maintain accurate production data for quality assurance and reporting purposes.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in CNC machining preferred.

Proven experience operating CNC machinery and tooling as well as a strong understanding of metal properties.

Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical documents and blueprints.

Strong mathematical and analytical skills to ensure accurate measurements and troubleshooting.

Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and CNC controls.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in CNC operation or machining from an accredited institution.

Prior experience in a manufacturing environment, especially in the metal or lead industry.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to achieving high-quality output.

Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability to new technologies and processes.
