Liquid Trees is dedicated to harnessing the power of diatoms as a natural solution for capturing atmospheric carbon. We focus on removing pollutants from freshwater systems using native microalgae and diatoms, which sequester CO2 through photosynthesis. Our efforts are concentrated on two primary domains:

Carbon Capture: as a natural solution for capturing atmospheric carbon.

Water bioremediation: for pollutants removal from water bodies

This role will lead the design and production of our innovative "Liquid Trees" lamps for indoor and outdoor corporate spaces. From prototyping to overseeing manufacturing, you'll play a key role in bringing our sustainable lighting solutions to life. Ideal candidates have expertise in water-based systems, materials like glass and acrylic, and proficiency in 3D printing and CAD. Join us in driving environmental sustainability through cutting-edge design and production.

Responsibilities:

-Design, and prototype different "Liquid Trees" lamps for corporate customers indoor and outdoor

-Work on custom requests by enterprise customers

-Build our own design studio, rapid prototyping for outdoor/indoor versions

-Be responsible for our own in-house production from 1 to 100 units

-Finding the right contractors for small scale Inhouse production in India for 100 to 1000 units and larger-scale production for the Indian market

-Outsource production to China for the European / USA market for units 1,000 to 10,000

Requirements:

-4+ years of experience with Design Engineering/ Industrial Engineering

-Knowledge of working with materials like glass, acrylic, composite

-Understanding of mechanical tolerance especially for water-based systems

-Knowledge of pumps/compressors

-basics for 3D printing, solid works, metal works, carpentry and plastic molding.

-Experience with Aquariums, water-based lamps or similar (not a must-have)
