We are a growing ministry seeking a diligent IT Specialist to take care of all our IT needs. You will be responsible for installing or upgrading components, setting up software, assisting with network administration, and resolving all IT support issues.

To be successful as an IT Specialist, you should have an in-depth knowledge of various computer hardware and software technologies. Top candidates will also have an amiable personality and an aptitude for customer service.

This position will be required to work from all campuses.

Job Responsibilities and Related Requirements:

Help Desk support for maintaining ministry end-user support. – Fresh Desk

Expert familiarity with Windows, Mac, iOS and Apple devices and operating systems.

Regularly evaluating our IT systems to ensure they meet the necessary demands.

Assisting with network administration tasks.

Ensuring ministry assets and data storage is safe and secure.

Educating coworkers about network security and best practices for computer usage.

Supporting the day-to-day operations of our computer network.

Solving problems and troubleshooting with a solution-oriented mindset.

Implement automated back-up for all end-user PCs and MACs.

Fulfill all technology requests for end-user desktops and telephones, move, adds, changes.

Rebuild and reload all servers and end-user PC/MAC as required.

Monitor systems for compliance of the handling of private data.

Maintain firewall and security software for Enterprise and each end-user PC and MAC.

Maintain all ministry communication systems including data, voice, web, email, and security system.

Maintain all records for all end-users.

Maintain software library and licenses.

Assist with onsite vendor repairs.

Complete regular PCI security audits for merchant services

Must be available to work weekends

Minimum Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma

Degree in Computer Information Systems or 3+ years experience of working in a related field
