Salary: 40,000
National Cleaning company seeking reliable candidate with experience for Supervisor role to cover -Tennessee, Kentucky and Mississippi.
Responsibilities
Maintain safety procedures by handling cleaning equipment and supplies according to company protocol
Over see multiple buildings in Ilinois and Indiana
Perform Bi-Monthly inspections on all Buildings
Training and monitoring the Janitorial staff to ensure an orderly, safe, and efficient cleaning operation
Responsible for hiring for all locations
Scheduling shifts, work hours, and payroll for the crew members
Communicate with client as needed
Documenting and managing contract performance based on key performance indicators
Ordering, stocking, and replenishing supplies, tools, and equipment
Demonstrating and documenting continuous improvements for assigned operations and staff
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements
Proven working experience as a Supervisor
Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
High school diploma or GED required
Preference of minimum of two years’ experience as a commercial cleaner
Preference of minimum of one year in a supervisory, leading, or managing role
Physical Requirements
Ability to perform the essential job functions consistent safely and successfully in accordance with local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone
Must possess a valid driver’s license
Must possess a vehicle for travel (mileage will be reimburses if used professionally)
