Summary:

The Distribution Center Associate will be responsible for performing picking and packing duties, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the distribution of goods to customers. The ideal candidate should have excellent attention to detail and be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

Accurately pick, pack and prepare orders for shipment.

Inspect and verify products for quality and quantity before shipment.

Utilize barcode scanning equipment and warehouse management systems to track inventory and fulfill orders.

Operate equipment, such as forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and manual pallet jacks, to move and organize inventory in the warehouse.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of warehouse processes and procedures.Requirements:

Required Skills/Abilities:

Ability to operate forklifts and/or pallet jacks or willingness to learn.

Basic computer skills, including experience with warehouse management systems and barcode scanning equipment.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends during November-January.

Good communication, attendance and teamwork skills.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma/GED

At least six months of experience in distribution or manufacturing required

Physical Requirements:

Ability to frequently lift, slide and lower packages up to 50 pounds.

Work Location:

Lenexa, KS

Schedule:

PM Lead: 2pm-12:30am M-Th

Ability to work overtime and weekends
