Position Overview

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of equipment and facilities. Supervision of self-run and third-party operations and work performed on Ice Cube property.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Perform repair of Ice Cube’s mechanical system as well as carry out regular inspection of building facilities to ensure they are operational and efficient.

Oversee tasks assigned to maintenance personnel to ensure smooth business operations.

Observe temporary or third-party personnel to ensure duties are effectively performed.

Administer preventative maintenance programs which reduce the risk of equipment failure and maximize productivity.

Identify new and advanced equipment that will serve as better alternatives for the replacement or upgrade of worn-out machines.

Oversee the management of maintenance expenses, and equipment depreciation.

Manage the process of disposal of worn-out/damaged machinery as well as the installation of new equipment.

Keep accurate records of maintenance logs and provide reports on daily operations.

Qualifications

Facility management, or related field, with a combination of work experience and education which proves proficiency in the field.

Associates degree and/or 5+ years of experience in administration support

Intermediate computer skills

Ability to conduct equipment inspections to identify and facilitate/conduct repair of machinery.

Ability to identify machine faults or building hazards and initiate repairs and adjustment as needed.

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish fact, and draw valid conclusions.

Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Ability to make quick, educated decisions regarding product quality.

Ability to lift 50 lbs., routinely.

Ability to make decisions and work out problems in a short time frame.

High attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-environment, willingness to be flexible and able to handle multiple situations simultaneously.
