SUMMARY:

SeneGence is a multi-faceted, corporation that is committed to making a positives contribution to women everywhere is seeking a copy writer. We are a privately owned, network marketing company that is in the business of developing and selling personal care products through an independent sales network and have been in business since 1999.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Writes email campaigns, product descriptions, website, social media and blog copy by using evocative language that focuses on the benefits for the consumer.

Creates grammatically correct and engaging copy in the SeneGence voice and tone for global markets and consumer audience.

Interpret creative direction from product and promo briefs into persuasive copy concepts

Support the creation of original concepts that result in effective and compelling communication

Work efficiently within tight deadlines to manage numerous projects, delivering concise, accurate, and polished copy with strong calls to action.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry and marketing trends to create the most timely and compelling copy.

Support the development of a monthly content calendar, pitching topics, themes, and ideas.

Build and execute editorial messaging through research, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification

Partner with design team to ensure copy is correctly flowed into design and work on solutions to optimize.

Drafts test emails through an email marketing tool, Campaign Monitor

Conducts market research on cosmetic copy trends

Demonstrate an interest and expertise in the beauty and skincare industry by staying abreast of trends in the marketplace

Responsible for writing and proofreading a multitude of different type of marketing material that may include creative collateral, manuals, emails, press releases, advertisements, web pages and other corporate documents

Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR POSITION:

Requires a bachelor's degree in Communication, Journalism, Advertising, English or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience

Requires at least 2 years’ experience in a Copywriting position in both print or web

Must have an understanding of SEO/SEM best practices

Must have familiarity with AI tools

Detail-oriented and data driven

Must possess competent creative writing as well as technical writing skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook

Must be comfortable to adapting to several voices, as there will be ghostwriting responsibilities

Must have working knowledge/experience with AP Style Book Style

Requires strong grammatical and verbal skills and must be an excellent speller

Must possess a flexible approach and willingness to adapt ideas to the needs of the clients

Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks and adjust as necessary to meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment

Requires strong computer and organizational skills, keen eye for details and the ability to verify all copy is accurately stated

Must be a strategic thinker, be self-motivated and possess a passion for writing in both logical creative styles

Must possess a positive, helpful attitude with active listening skills

Must be able to work independently and as a cooperative member of a team

Must be able to take constructive feedback with a willingness to learn from other creative staff members

Must be able to adhere to a hybrid work schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED FOR POSITION:

Innate creativity and experience writing copy for beauty/skincare preferred

Experience in direct sales/multi-level marketing/e-commerce

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Physical requirements include arm and hand steadiness and finger dexterity enough to use a keyboard and telephone; frequent walking with occasional standing; may be subject to occasional lifting up to 25 pounds and occasional carrying up to fifty (50) pounds; frequent balancing, bending, handling, feeling, and climbing; occasional reaching, kneeling, and twisting; vision, speech, and hearing sufficient to perform the essential tasks.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Working environment is primarily an office environment, subject to irregular hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
