Job Description
The prospective candidate must possess excellent interpersonal skills, great communication skills, multi-tasking, and attention to detail skills. They must be able to serve as a liaison between customers and HVAC technicians during service and installation jobs. In addition, a dispatcher must be able to make judgment calls regarding the best plan of action for a particular job.
Provide excellent customer service by answering general questions regarding services, pricing, warranties, etc.
Schedule and monitor daily technician schedule
Dispatch work orders to field technicians according to priority and location
Monitoring technicians travel by tracking vehicles on GPS trackers
Contact customers to confirm next-day appointments
Contact customers if technician will not meet the time originally promised
Respond to e-mail/website inquiries
Source parts for field technicians
Coordinate warranty registrations
Communicate with field technicians regarding any issues
Assist accounting with invoicing, or payment processing
Position Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Minimum 1 year of dispatching experience, preferably in HVAC or related industry
ServiceTitan software experience
Skills Needed:
Excellent Communication Skills
Minimum 1 year of dispatching experience, preferably in HVAC or related industry
Multi-Tasking skills are a must
Be able to work in a fast pace environment
Basic computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft applications
Experience with HVAC terminology a plus
The position is a full-time position – 40 hours per week-Monday through Friday
