Job Description
The Maintenance Technician performs a variety of maintenance and repair tasks in order to keep the property in compliance with standards for functionality, cleanliness, safety, and security.
PRIMARY DUTIES
Maintenance Responsibilities
*Maintains the basic upkeep of all guest and common areas by ensuring furniture, appliances, plumbing, HVAC and electrical equipment are in working order.
*Maintains and performs basic plumbing repairs. Resolves plumbing drain issues to the extent of sewer lateral blockages. Assists the Water Department, as needed, for sewer main blockages.
*Maintains HVAC systems by providing basic electrical repairs and inspections. (e.g. outlets, lightbulbs, wi-fi/internet)
Guest Service
*Offers assistance to guests whenever possible.
*Resolves escalated customer relation issues.
*Uses maintenance blue card procedure.
*Positively represents and promotes the property.
*Assists guests and staff with anything they may need from a maintenance perspective.
Other Duties As Assigned
*Assists other maintenance techs, as needed.
*Documents part/supply inventory usage.
*Reports any major repair issues or requests to Director of Engineering.
