508 Compliance Analyst/Tester

Summary:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive compliance analyst to ensure regulatory compliance withing all departments of our organization. As a compliance analyst, your duties will include training employees in industry standards, developing policies, and evaluating compliance. You are also required to obtain regulatory approval. To be successful in this role, you should possess extensive experience in advising organizations on industry requirements and standards. Accomplished compliance analysts are regulatory experts who lead their organizations toward excellence in compliance.

Basic Responsibilities:

Researching industry compliance regulations and policies.

Evaluating internal operational and procedural compliance.

Analyzing and updating existing compliance policies and related documentation.

Communicating compliance policies and guidelines to Management and designated departments.

Developing and maintaining a compliance recordkeeping system.

Training employees in industry compliance requirements.

Maintaining communications with compliance regulators and following up on applications.

Keeping up with compliance requirements and amendments to regulations.

Conducting test checks/testing reviews-Quarterly/Semi-annual/ Annual basis

Specialized Responsibilities:

Lead the design and delivery of a portfolio of Compliance tests to monitor compliance with Regulation and internal policy.

Work closely with regulatory team to ensure the test plans align to statutory regulations and internal policies and procedures

Execute detailed testing work programs to ensure compliance with regulatory local regulations and policies

Develop, and execute as needed, Compliance testing programs which define required elements such as key risks, controls/processes, and specific test steps for each applicable area of review

Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:

Industry-related Bachelor's degree and accredited compliance management certification.

Previous experience as a compliance analyst in a related field.

In-depth knowledge of industry compliance requirements and standards.

Proficiency in compliance management software, like Paradigm 3 and Intellect Compliance.

Exceptional ability to formulate compliance policies, procedures, and related documentation.

Advanced analytical abilities.

Effective research and professional networking skills.

Ability to accurately complete applications for compliance certification.

Ability to effectively train employees.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Required Skills and Experience:

Minimum 2 years of experience in 508 Technical Testing with collaborative applications and learning platforms, including open source, cloud technologies utilizing agile development methodologies

Minimum 2 years of experience in automated and manual 508 technical testing tools specifically JAWS, Dragon NaturallySpeaking and ZoomText

Minimum 2 years of experience with Rational Collaborative Lifecycle Management (CLM)

Minimum 2 years of experience with Enterprise Lifecycle (ELC) Methodologies

Knowledge and proven experience performing 508 technical testing in IRS environment

Extensive knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) at A and AA levels

Must possess Active Moderate Risk Background Investigation (MBI) with the IRS
