Job Summary

As a Pharmacy Technician I at AmeriPharma, you will be responsible for collaborating with a licensed Pharmacist to perform pharmacy related functions. Functions range from filling, labeling, dispensing, and keeping detailed records of medication and operations. The Pharmacy Technician I is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment for themselves and others. Additionally, the Pharmacy Technician I is responsible for reporting any workflow issues to the Workflow supervisor as needed. This position will be working out of our pharmacy located in Orange, Ca to start and be transferred to our Laguna Hills, Ca location.

Duties and Responsibilities

Verifying prescriptions in a MedBox before shipment

Packaging MedBox shipments

Follows instructions given by the prepper to ease the workflow

Maintains and cleans the ATP machine daily

Refills canisters for any orders that are ready to be dispensed

Pulls stock bottles for the tray meds and keeps them ready for dispensing

Fills and stacks medication trays

Works “Go back bins” and returns them back to the corresponding stock shelves

Handles and disposes all confidential and non-confidential trash based on company policy

Keeps track of machine cleaning supplies (disinfectants, wipes, compressed air, gloves, etc) and orders them as needed

Performs cycle counts to update sure cost daily

Works on any other duties assigned by supervisor

Reports any issues to the Workflow Supervisor

Required Qualifications

High level of attention to detail

Multitasker that works well in a team environment

Basic understanding of pharmacy operations

Fast learner that adapts well to a dynamic work environment

Education Requirements

Clear and active CA Pharmacy Technician license

High School diploma or equivalency

Preferred Skills and Education

Multitasker with a high level of attention to detail

General mathematics skills

Drug nomenclature and/or medical terminology knowledge

Schedule Details

In-Person (Laguna Hills, Ca. - Office boarders Irvine)

Monday-Friday hours vary between 6:00am-6:00pm, will confirm upon interviews
