Description:
The Assembly (2nd Shift) is primarily responsible for sub-assembling smaller parts. This includes reviewing the work order to ensure material availability.
Essential Job Responsibilities not limited to:
Review picking sheet
Confirms if pick from stock or make from a job
Locate job and compare with picking sheet
Review drawings for part assembly (if available)
Gather materials to assemble parts
Assemble parts
Review picking sheet for special instructions
Inspect parts for final assembly
Sign off on production and picking sheet

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
Able to stand for long periods of time
Able to lift, push, and pull 25 pounds unassistedRequirements:
Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or GED
Shop experience in assembly and reading shop prints
Familiar with power tools and hand tools, loc-tite glue, and paper cutter
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Ability to read and interpret shop drawings
Basic math knowledge which includes the use of measuring tools
Work Environment
Typical machine shop environment.
Willing and able to work additional hours as needed
