We are expanding our staff and seeking Licensed Journeyman Electricians to join Hays Team for a job in Houston, Texas.

We are seeking motivated and skilled Journeyman Electricians to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial, multi-family, and hospitality projects. The job of a Service Driver Electrician typically involves providing electrical services to customers at their premises. This can include installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical equipment, as well as troubleshooting electrical problems and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Duties:

Comply with regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Maintain accurate records of work performed, including time spent, materials used, and tasks completed.

Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices to continuously improve technical skills.

Qualifications:

Driving to customer sites to perform electrical work.

Assessing customer needs and providing estimates for electrical services

Installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical equipment such as wiring, lighting fixtures, and appliances

Troubleshooting electrical problems and identifying solutions

Testing electrical systems and ensuring they are functioning properly.

Adhering to safety protocols and regulations, including wearing protective gear and ensuring proper grounding

Communicating with customers to provide updates on work progress and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.

Maintaining accurate records of work performed, including time spent and materials used.

Keeping up to date with changes in electrical codes and regulations

To perform these duties, a Service Driver Electrician should have a thorough understanding of electrical systems and equipment, as well as strong problem-solving and communication skills. Additionally, a valid driver's license and the ability to operate a service vehicle may be required.

Texas State Journeyman Electrical license

Previous experience working as a Journeyman in commercial, multi-family, and hospitality projects is highly desirable.

Knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety guidelines.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects.

Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Reliable transportation.

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
