Mental Health Technician (Full Time)

Job Description

High Focus Centers in Parsippany is a premier provider of outpatient treatment programs for mental health, substance use and co-occurring disorders. Our highly trained staff create individualized, comprehensive and robust treatment plans designed to meet each client’s treatment goals. Our Mental Health Associates provide support to our clients through multi-modal group sessions, patient break supervision, routine monitoring of urine drug screens, and multiple assigned clerical and operational activities! Pay rate: $16 - $17.00/hour

Responsibilities:

• Complete the intake process with new clients into program

• Maintains client documentation through assigned clerical and operational activities

• Observe an document client self-administration of medication as applicable

• Coordination of client activities (includes instructional sessions, multi-modal group sessions, patient break supervision, routine monitoring of urine drug screens)

• Follows objectives of treatment plans and client-specific needs

• Evaluates behavioral and emotional needs of clients and provides response including crisis intervention

• Assists with the dietary needs of clients

• Other duties as assigned (Need to be comfortable transporting clients in company vehicle)

Education:

Bachelor's degree required
