Midlantic Urology, one of the largest urology practices in Southeastern PA, has an immediate opening in our central business office located in Plymouth Meeting, PA for a full-time Medical Accounts Receivable/Billing Specialist.

Position responsibilities will include follow-up on outstanding claims, correct denied claims, submit appeals, work with commercial, managed care, Medicaid and Medicare providers. This position works with an outside billing company to provide support and insight into pending claims.Requirements

Requirements

3-5 years of experience in a medical billing office preferred.

Must have experience with the entire cycle of a medical claim.

Billing experience with ICD-10 and CPT codes, work aged receivables, familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid and commercial insurances, work rejection reports, process electronic and paper EOB’s, appeal denied claims, account reconciliation and payment posting.

Must be able to function in a team-oriented environment, display strong analytical, investigative, interpersonal and organizational skills, pay high attention to detail with consistent follow-through and be able to productively manage high volumes of work.

Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Excellent computer skills.
