Technical Architect - Life Insurance Application

Our client is a technology solution provider for the global insurance industry. Below are the primary responsibilities for the role.

Role: Technical Architect – Life Insurance

Location: Pune/Mumbai

Responsibilities:

Act as an expert for the Company’s solution assets for Life Insurance for customers and prospects coaching them on the usage of platform assets for developing various solutions using them

Engage prospects and customers in developing architecture of how the company’s solution can fit into their existing system landscape and integrate with existing systems

Developing detailed system and integration architectures for solution implementations

Implementation Team Capability Building:

Acquiring knowledge of the company’s solution assets from R&D teams and training/mentoring local implementations on the same

Maintaining and enhancing knowledge of solution assets within the implementation teams

Suggesting and working closely with R&D teams on the development of new features/enhancements to the product assets.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Educational Requirement: BE/BTech/MCA/MBA IT

Relevant Experience: Java, J2EE, Java Architecture, Cloud (AWS/Azure), Core Life Insurance Applications

8 years of experience in IT including at least 5 years in Architecture roles in the Life Insurance companies/IT providers for Life Insurance.

Enterprise-level experience with Java, open-source frameworks and Cloud (AWS/Azure).

Hands-on experience with software development, enterprise architecture, and directing technical teams.

Experience in Java, RESTful Web Services, Spring framework, Microservices, Spring boot and SSO.

Cloud-Native application design experience is a plus.

Strong understanding of modern development techniques and processes such as DevOps /Cloud.

Architecting and deploying multi-tiered applications and serverless applications on cloud platforms

The ability to play a multi-faceted architecture leadership role with demonstrated capabilities in acting in key responsibilities outlined above

Experience of Life Insurance Core PAS solution implementations and integrations

Must have deep life insurance business understanding, including Core PAS and digital insurance.

Ability to think strategically and relate architectural recommendations to business needs and client culture.

Experience in defining and realizing end-to-end technical Architecture for large and complex systems.

Exposure to other enterprise solutions used in the industry such as Accounting, Document Management, BPM/Workflow, Output Management and Reporting/BI solutions

Extensive experience in designing solutions for client requirements and estimation.

Ability to communicate technical solutions with technical and non-technical stakeholders
