Global LIMS Administrator

General Responsibility

Provides administrative and developmental support to the Labware LIMS.

Specific Responsibilities

LIMS system in the long term, managing user requests, understanding master data, maintaining a validated state, processing access requests, support to build up standard operating procedures (SOP), and working with the business to troubleshoot issues.

for development, workload management and ensuring compliance with technical and operational aspects of the LIMS.

in LIMS administration, configuration, and troubleshooting.

and report data anomalies and opportunities to improve the system.

the controlled state of the system.

with all departments, in particular IT and Project Planning & QA, Global Quality Systems.

regular coordination / update meetings with various departments.

with line manager to prioritize issues to resolve. Adapt to changing plans and priorities.

and mentor the LIMS Configuration team for their qualifications.

in the implementation of LIMS in QC and provide support and training as required.

LIMS procedures, work instructions and training modules.

team audits, regulatory audits.

and maintain relationships with vendors/consultants.

Requirements and personal skills

Education: University Level in Chemistry, Pharmacy, other relevant Science / Engineering discipline, or other degree with sound education/training in Computerized Systems.

Languages: Fluent English and Spanish is an asset.

Experience (years/area): Minimum 3 years’ experience with direct computerized systems implementation and administration.

Specific Knowledge: Labware LIMS User and Administration knowledge.

Travels: about 15% of the time, though this percentage may be significantly increased during the rollout phase of global systems.

Personal skills: Autonomy, hands on hard worker, excellent communicator, ability to manage global expectations from international remote teams.
