Senior Business Analyst - (Business Process Re-Engineering) - Onsite Opportunity for Sydney, Australia

Candidate having work experience with top 4 Australian banks will be preferred.

The Senior Business Analyst is required to build and maintain working relationships with their immediate scrum team, as well as the broader project team (other scrum teams), stakeholders, product owners, Business Services and SMEs.

You will need to identify and manage risk according to delivery framework, policies and project governance and will report to the Scrum Master or Delivery Lead.

You will lead and own business analysis activities and to provide specialist support for projects. Gather information, document, and analyse business needs, to produce quality requirements. The role requires you to identify opportunities for improvement in business operations and processes.

as well as liaise with stakeholders and elicit information from business and IT to help develop solutions that enable our customers to achieve their goals. Building and maintaining relationships with other team members is also key to the transformational agenda.

Able to complete as-is vs to-be assessments

Strong workshop facilitation and documentation skills

Great at communication and building relationships

Has worked in scrum and SAFE agile environments

Able to create user stories and acceptance criteria

Capable of reviewing solution documentation against requirements to validate solutions

Ensure that the requirement and design are defined correctly and that they align and support the delivery of needed value, to define the solution approach and identify opportunities to improve the business.

Business Knowledge:

Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience desirable

Desired business and/or technology tertiary qualifications;

Desired Lean Six Sigma - Green belt certification or equivalent

A strong understanding of technology and business systems strategically and operationally

Knowledge of project management disciplines

Coaching and mentoring skills - Scrum Master skills

Basic use of Postman

Desired understanding of mobile apps and APIs

Desired basic SQL understanding

Desired Experience:

Previous experience within Financial Services domain

Able to attend and facilitate in person workshops
