Responsibilities

Conduct thorough research on assigned topics, including industry trends, competitor analysis, and target audience insights.

Design and write long-form content, such as blog posts, website copy, articles, brochures, white papers, case studies, and other content formats as needed.

Collaborate with marketing and client teams to understand client needs and content goals.

Maintain a strong understanding of SEO best practices and integrate keywords organically into content.

Ensure that the content adheres to brand voice and style guidelines.

Proofread and edit content for grammar, clarity, and accuracy.

Stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends and content marketing best practices.

Qualifications

Proven experience of around 3 years as a content writer with a focus on long-form content creation.

A degree in journalism is preferred.

Strong research and analytical skills.

Not dependent on AI tools to write.

Ability to understand complicated subjects.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to write in a clear, concise, and engaging style, tailoring content to different audiences.

A solid understanding of SEO principles and content optimisation techniques.

Experience with content management systems (CMS) is a plus.

Experience in the advertising, marketing, or content creation industry is a plus.
