Java, Spring Boot and AWS Developer

5+ yrs. of IT work experience using Java/J2EE technologies

OOP’s and Exception Handling

Multi thread and thread pool management

File system and other I/O handling capability

Collection framework, Lambda and Stream API

Generics and Functional Programming

Reflection API and Memory management

Data structures and algorithms

Spring, Spring Boot – Strong knowledge in these frameworks

Spring IoC, Spring AOP

Spring security and SpEL

Spring Test (Spring boot test with Mockito and PowerMockito)

Design patterns, memory management and performance tuning

Must have ability to work independently as well as be a team player

Must have rich experience with API modeling for RESTFul microservices and Docker deployment.

Knowledge in bootstrapping the Spring boot application.

Strong knowledge in Elastic search and query optimization.

Strong knowledge with AWS cloud and configuration management.

Working knowledge in identifying and fixing vulnerabilities using SonarQube and HP Fortify

Working with SSL certificate is mandatory.

Knowledge on Docker and Jenkins is a plus

Apache open-source integration is mandatory

Strong knowledge in working with JSON, YAML and Jackson API

Needs to work with large sets of data. So memory management and performance tuning will be key area.

Must be very strong in technical design principles

Must be strong in design and architectural patterns

Must be able to provide out of box technical solution / approach to problems

Ability to collaborate with high-performing tech and non-tech teams and individuals

Ability to work in a fast paced environment and multi-task

Must have good communication

Must have excellent analytics skill

Experience with traditional & agile SDLC methodologies

Hosting environment:

Working experience with APIGEE API Gateway is plus

No-SQL database

Insurance domain knowledge is a plus
