Job Summary:
biBERK, a Berkshire Hathaway company, has experienced substantial growth since its formation just a few years ago. We are changing the way businesses buy insurance. As Email Marketing Manager, you will be an expert in planning and executing strategic email campaigns using a wide range of SFMC tools such as Email Studio, Journey Builder, and Advertising Studio. Your role will be key to nurturing leads to convert to customers, educating and retaining customers, and increasing our LTV for each line of business through cross-sell and up-sell opportunities. You will be the go-to resource on the marketing team for knowledge of our company’s customer base and competitors. This role is instrumental in managing the end-to-end delivery of all scheduled email journeys - from content strategy and implementation, to testing, approvals, deployment, deliverability, and performance evaluation. Duties/Responsibilities:
Establish a core understanding of our customer base, conversion funnels, and growth strategies.
Create and optimize sophisticated and thoughtful customer journeys and pre/post-purchase flows.
Identify and resolve issues that affect email deliverability, such as blocklisting, spam complaints, and high bounce rates.
Develop segmentation strategies to create personalized prospect and customer experiences.
Optimize the conversion path for the acquisition of new prospects, onboarding of new customers, and develop strategies to nurture existing customers - including, but not limited to, cross sell and up sell opportunities.
Develop and implement a testing strategy to optimize existing email flows and test new pathways to increase conversion
Partner with the marketing team to understand the content lifecycle and align Salesforce Marketing Cloud channel communication to the appropriate audiences accordingly.
Create and maintain an email marketing strategy and calendar.
Manage setup, QA, tracking, implementation, reporting and analysis of all email and SMS campaigns.
Deep understanding of the competitive landscape and how the biBERK brand aligns with what our competitors are doing.
Launch, manage, test, and optimize our SMS and acquisition marketing programs.
Own the analysis and presentation of results.
Assist with landing page testing and website content/copywriting as needed.
Technical Skills:
Core understanding of email best practices, CAN-SPAM, and data privacy laws.
1-3 years of Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud, or related experience.
Hands on experience with data extensions, automations, journeys, filters and triggers in Salesforce Marketing Cloud is strongly preferred
Maintaining Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist certification is required
Familiarity with HTML and content management systems a plus
SQL knowledge a plus and AmpScript experience is a plus
Acquisition, retention, and customer lifecycle marketing experience a plus
A/B testing experience a plus
Understanding of digital media and Advertising Studio

Education and Experience:
BS/BA in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Management, related digital degree, or equivalent working experience.
3+ years related email marketing/remarketing experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Sitting - Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

In accordance with pay transparency laws and regulations, the following good faith compensation range estimate is being provided. The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $75,000 per year. Final compensation will be based on candidate qualifications, geographic location, and other considerations permitted by law.
