Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Job Description
**Company Overview**
Our client is a rapidly growing medical practice with a current revenue of $1 million. We specialize in mental health and are committed to providing high-quality care to our patients. As part of our growth strategy, we are planning to expand into a multi-state environment and are looking for a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team.
**Position Overview:**
The CFO will play a key role in the financial management and strategic planning of our practice. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and financial reporting. The CFO will also be responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies to support our expansion into a multi-state environment.
**Responsibilities:**
Develop and implement financial strategies to support the practice's expansion into a multi-state environment
Oversee all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and financial reporting
Monitor and analyze financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement
Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards
Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and other financial institutions
Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures
Provide financial leadership and guidance to the executive team and staff
Prepare and present financial reports to the CEO and board of directors
**Qualifications:**
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial management role, preferably in the healthcare industry
Proven track record of developing and implementing financial strategies
Strong leadership and communication skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of healthcare finance and regulations
