If you are a Squaxin Tribal member between the ages of 15 and 21 and would like an opportunity to work this summer, please visit the link below for an application.

Application workshops will be offered on May 14th and May 23rd from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. at the Museum Contact Jessica Cruz at with questions.

The Summer Youth Employment Program will begin on Monday, July 8, 2024, and will run through Friday, August 9, 2024.

Please note all applicants for Little Creek Casino Resort will be asked to attend an additional orientation workshop to complete the licensing process. Those working with Stepping Stones or ROOTS will start Monday June 24th due to additional training requirements.

Application deadline Monday, June 3, 2024, by 4:00. Applications received after this date will be considered in the order received based on availability.

Little Creek Casino Resort Trainee Positions: Hours for these positions may vary.

8 positions will be rotated through. We will be incorporating the following:

· Introduction to Business Concepts

· Introduction to Tribal Gaming Environment

· Job shadowing in Hospitality, Administration and Golf Course Operations

All LCCR youth trainees working may be rotated through various positions within the department throughout the program.

Tribal Government Trainee Positions:

· Activities Assistant for Summer ROOTS 4 positions

· Kitchen Assistant for Summer ROOTS 1 position

· Housing Maintenance 1 position

· Grounds Maintenance 1 position

· Wastewater Trainee 1 position

· Stepping Stones Mentors 2 positions

· Cultural Preservation Apprentice MLRC 2 positions

· Natural Resources Intern 4 positions

· Natural Resources Office Assistant 1 position

· Childcare Center Assistant Aid 4 positions

· Family Services Intern 1 position

· Executive Services Receptionist Trainee 1 position

Island Enterprise Positions:

Office Assistant Intern 1 position

Salish Seafood 1 position, with own transportation

Must be a Squaxin Tribal Member, a descendant of an enrolled Squaxin Tribal Member, or enrolled with another Tribe.
