Applications Developer- Subject Matter Expert

WORK REQUIREMENTS

The Contractor shall develop a system application and user interface

The Contractor shall analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.

The Contractor shall confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers and others to design systems and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces.

The Contractor shall develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, performance, and documentation.

The Contractor shall coordinate with Data Management personnel to ensure proper data protection policies and obfuscation protocols are adhered to by the developed system software.

The Contractor shall develop the application following the Sponsors standards, guidance and enterprise architecture.

The Contractor shall deploy and maintain a system application and user interface

The Contractor shall leverage enterprise and cloud capabilities where possible.

The Contractor shall work with Sponsor to communicate architecture, approach, and roll-out plan.

The Contractor shall develop and support system documentation in support of the accreditation process.

The Contractor shall manage and track requirements through the teams JIRA site.

The Contractor shall provide demonstrations and user support of the production application.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE:

The candidate shall have the following required skills, certifications and demonstrated experience:

Demonstrated experience programming using modern prevalently used programming languages such as: Java, Node, Angular, React and Vue.

Demonstrated support and integration experience with Kafka and related technologies.

Demonstrated experience with new system development leveraging cloud services.

DESIRED SKILLS AND DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE:

Other skills and demonstrated experiences that are highly desired but not mandatory to perform the work, include:

Demonstrated experience configuring cloud services on the Sponsors systems.

Demonstrated experience using FidOS.

Demonstrated experience with Agile Methodology.

Demonstrated experience using Swagger.

Demonstrated experience using requirements tracking programs such as JIRA or Confluence.

Demonstrated experience with DevOps related tools such as GitHub and Jenkins.
