We are seeking an enthusiastic Regional Technology Manager pursuing a career and not a job. We are a leading wholesale supplier to the heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration industry operating in multiple branches in Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
Job Summary:
The Regional IT Manager’s principal role is the management and protection of IT assets while providing technical support to all Indianapolis branches. This candidate needs to excel at resolving technical issues and dealing with all levels of the organization.

Essential Functions:
Provide technical support for end-users, troubleshooting and implementing solutions for hardware, software, and network issues.
Respond to support requests via phone, email, tickets, or chat, logging, and prioritizing tickets for timely resolution.
Install, configure, and deploy computer hardware and software applications.
Perform routine maintenance, including software updates, patches, and security fixes, to ensure system reliability and security.
Manage user accounts and permissions, following organizational policies.
Resolve network connectivity issues and collaborate with network administrators for complex problems.
Assist in implementing security policies and monitoring systems for vulnerabilities.
Create and maintain technical documentation and user guides.
Provide remote assistance using desktop tools and phone support.
Respond promptly to IT emergencies, following incident management procedures to minimize downtime.
Required Skills/Abilities:

General knowledge of inventory systems (knowledge of RF-based systems a plus)
Skill in using web-based tools to research products and information.
Qualifications:
2-year degree in IT or equivalent experience.
Proficient in computer hardware, software, and networking fundamentals, including troubleshooting, and configuring network devices.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
Skilled in diagnosing and resolving technical issues efficiently, using troubleshooting methodologies and tools.
Detail-oriented with the ability to follow SOPs and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Collaborative mindset, willing to share knowledge and contribute to continuous improvement.
Adaptive to changing technologies and priorities, committed to ongoing learning and development.
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, Cisco CCENT, and ITIL Foundation are beneficial.
Proficient in maintaining accurate support records and writing clear documentation.
Dedicated to staying updated with the latest IT trends and best practices.
Experienced in providing remote support via various channels, with strong customer rapport and conflict resolution skills.
Understanding of basic cybersecurity principles to mitigate risks and protect sensitive data.
