We specialize in treating brain and central nervous system disorders, with a focus on Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and concussion cases. We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Neurologist to be an integral part of our growing practice.

Job Summary:

As a Neurologist at Radius TBI, you will play a pivotal role in diagnosing and treating patients with neurological disorders and diseases. You'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of cases, from TBI and concussion patients to general neurology cases. Your responsibilities will include:

Conducting patient evaluations.

Analyzing test results.

Developing treatment plans.

Prescribing medications.

Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide the best possible care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Comprehensive Patient Evaluation: Conduct thorough patient assessments through thoughtful questioning, examinations, memory tests, and movement activities.

- Test Result Analysis: Analyze and interpret patient test results to make informed diagnoses.

- Personalized Treatment Plans: Develop individualized treatment plans and set achievable patient goals, which you will discuss with the patient and their family.

- Medication Management: Prescribe medications and closely monitor patient progress and adherence.

- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other medical professionals, recommending surgeons or additional treatments as necessary.

- Patient Records: Maintain accurate patient records, documenting symptoms, medications, and treatments. (A medical scribe/Medical Assistant will be provided to assist with documentation.)

- Patient Education: Empower patients, their families, and relevant parties with clear and compassionate explanations of progress, treatment options, and future goals.

- Continuous Improvement: Engage in research activities to enhance our ability to serve our patients effectively.

Requirements and Qualifications:

- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)/ Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree from a Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) accredited medical school.

- Successful completion of the U.S. Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE).

- Certification by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) and compliance with local state requirements.

- Residency in neurology.

- A strong commitment to improving the lives of patients.

- Compassion, sensitivity, and a patient-centered approach.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor.

- $218,311.00 - $269,867.00 per year
