COMMERCIAL REFRIGERATION TECHNICIANS NEEDED
Kitchen Equipment Solutions (KES), a Texas owned and managed company that stands behind their work and their employees, is presently seeking dedicated team players throughout Texas (Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, Austin, San Antonio and Waco) that are qualified in servicing commercial refrigeration and/or cooking equipment for one of the most respected restaurant equipment repair companies in the state. KES specializes only in restaurant equipment, has numerous national customers as well as supporting many manufacturers as their authorized service agent. The position’s responsibilities will be performing repairs to refrigeration (walk-ins, reach-ins and ice machines) and commercial cooking equipment in our customers’ locations throughout the D/FW area.
The selected individuals will receive nonstandard equipment training at the beginning of employment with continued training thereafter. KES’s corporate office is located in Irving, Texas with our parent company owning 80 restaurants throughout the state that we also manage. Position Requirements
HVAC and/or refrigeration experience
Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting background (or recent graduate from HVAC/R school)
Excellent customer service, communication and analytical skills
Ability to maintain company vehicle and its inventory
Ability to work unsupervised and remain motivated
Ability to follow company procedures
A valid Texas driver’s license and able to drive multiple hours per day
Ability to assume on-call rotation responsibilities
EPA Certified and TDLR Registered
Standard computer skills
Possess industry standard tools (company provides recovery unit, vacuum, scale, combustion analyzer)
Lift 50 pounds and able to climb ladders
