AutoCAD Drafter - Aerospace

Job Description

AutoCAD Drafter provides a wide range of computer-aided drafting services while working in the Engineering Department.

Updating documents which are used throughout the company per provided redline prints or written requests.

Good communication skills, and able to communicate clearly while interacting with personnel at all levels.

Execute entire Engineering Change Order (ECO) process, manage replacing original documents with the released documents.

Experience with Computer Aided Design (CAD) 2D and 3D tools such as Autodesk Inventor, Solid Works, or equivalent to generate detailed drawings.

Grasp the basic understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and American National Standards (ANSI).

Individuals must able to walk from building to building gathering notes, communicate with Engineers as well as other Document Control duties.

Create/ update Bill of Materials (BOM) as required using AAT’s ERP software.

Desired Experience:

Two or more years of Autodesk Inventor training or work experience.

Experience with Autodesk VAULT’s Product Data Management (PDM) software.

Completion of CAD certificate programs or fluent with 3D CAD program.

Previous work experience creating 2D detailed drawings from 3D models.

Proficient in Microsoft Office.
