Our machine shop is in immediate need for a few CNC Lathe setup and Operator in the city of Garden Grove. This position is for 1st & 2nd shift with a lot of overtime.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Interpret blueprints, manuals and other work instructions.

Set up machine(s) and load with correct cutting tools.

Inspect work pieces throughout a production run.

Measure and mark dimensions and reference points on material or work pieces as a guide for subsequent machining.

Clean and perform basic preventative maintenance functions on machines, tooling and parts.

Communicate with supervisors, engineers, production control employees and other personnel for assignments.

Resolve machining or quality issues.

REQUIREMENTS:

Must have 4+ years of experience as a CNC Lathe Setup & Operator.

Machine set up experience.

Must work safely to prevent on-the-job injuries.

Must be able to pass pre-employment testing.

DESIRABLE:

Mori Seiki machines helpful

Twin spindle is a plus

SCHEDULE:

Monday through Friday

1st Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:30 am to 4:30 pm

2nd Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday 4:00 pm to 2:30 am

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $22.00 per hour
