Logistics Resource Specialist

Chemical production facility in Theodore, AL is currently looking for a full-time Logistics Resource Specialist.

Responsibilities: * Operate heavy equipment including forklifts * Work around rotating/moving equipment while packaging/loading product * Manually handle various materials * Be able to respond quickly to identify and correct quality issues * Coordinate between packaging warehouse, production plant, and logistics department to enter and track material production * Track and maintain inventory of finished goods and raw materials * Coordinate logistic movements with on-site/off-site team * Perform weekly and monthly inventory counts * Store/track non-conforming materials inventory * Maintain and file shipping documents on inbound/outbound materials in warehouse * Utilize a diverse set of SAP transactions and production programs to accomplish goals and expectations set by client * Create process orders for all material packaged in warehouse facility including railcar and bulk truck * Receive and verify all finished and packaged material with SAP * Ensure quality inspection on all inbound/outbound material in warehouse * Ensue all material received corresponds with current material in warehouse facility * Utilize FIFO procedure on all inbound/outbound material Requirements: * High school diploma or equivalent * Proficient in Microsoft Office * Great communication skills * SAP experience preferred * MSSC preferred (Certified Logistics Technician) * Ability to troubleshoot and create solutions * Must have a valid Driver's License * Must be able to pass a drug screening and physical * Must be able to bass a background check * Must be authorized to work in the US.

Schedule: Monday - Friday (days) Starting Pay: $20.75/hr Physical Requirements: Strength: Standing 55% Walking 20% Sitting 25% Lifting Up to 50 Lb.
