Purpose

The Project Manager: PerkinElmer is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager with Chromatography knowledge to join our dynamic team. As a Project Manager, you will be accountable for ensuring development projects are on time, within scope, and within budget. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Project Planning and Execution:

Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.

Execute projects according to the project plan, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project deliverables.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

Work closely with internal stakeholders, including R&D, manufacturing, quality, marketing, and other teams to ensure alignment on project goals and objectives.

Foster a collaborative and communicative environment to facilitate successful project outcomes.

Risk Management

Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.

Proactively address issues as they arise, keeping the project on track and within scope.

Budget Management

Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring financial goals are met.

Provide regular financial updates to stakeholders and make recommendations for cost optimization.

Stakeholder Communication

Communicate project progress, updates, and challenges effectively to all stakeholders.

Conduct regular status meetings and prepare reports for project sponsors and leadership.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Project Management, Business, Engineering, etc.).

Minimum of proven 5+ years’ experience as a Project Manager, preferably in the scientific or technology industry.

Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

Self-starter with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and take ownership of projects, performing job requirements with minimal oversight and attention to detail.

Exhibits an assertive personality with a strong bias for action with a results-orientation; tackles tough problems with firm deadlines.
