Position Summary
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Technical Claims Adjuster to join our team in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be an Insurance Claims Adjuster actively involved in evaluating multi-line claims with a focus on property (commercial and personal lines) claims through loss investigation. They will be responsible for negotiating settlements in accordance with provincial licensing requirements, while maintaining adequate production levels and customer relationships.
Requirements
10 or more years of functional and technical claims handling experience in cargo, commercial property and transportation claims
Ideal candidate will have a construction and property background specializing in project management, quantification and appraisal
Commercial policy interpretation and experience making recommendations to the market
Licensed or working towards CIP and/or FCIP designation
Strong report writing skills
Must be a team player with outstanding customer service skills
Willingness to work in a dynamic environment with opportunity for career growth
