Diesel Mechanic
Description:
We are currently recruiting for Heavy Diesel Mechanics with experience in the Heavy Machinery or Logistics Industry.
Our client is going through exceptional growth and are looking for a motivated Diesel Mechanic to repair and maintain extensive fleet of Kenworth Trucks.
Work Shop based in Townsville Queensland
Immediate Start
Day Shifts Available Monday to Friday + OT
Hourly Rates range between $47 to $50 per hour - Pending experience
Must have current drivers license & HC License (advantage)

The role will involve but not be limited to:
The routine servicing and breakdown repairs
Major Inspections
Conducting quality inspections
Workshop preventative and breakdown maintenance on diesel fleet
Occasional local site work for breakdowns
Strong experience in maintenance and repairs
Ability to follow and update service maintenance schedules and prioritise works to support operational capability
Accurate and timely completion of relevant servicing paperwork
All applicants must have full working rights in Australia and prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol testing as required.
The successful candidate will have:
Relevant trade qualification
Troubleshooting, diagnostic and preventative maintenance skills
Experience with buses, trucks, heavy equipment/machinery or Cranes
