Taxi Driver in Canberra (ACT)

ACT Cabs is the local taxi service in Canberra, Queanbeyan and surrounding regions.

ACT Cabs is hiring and training new Taxi Drivers in Canberra & Queanbeyan.

Applicants must be based in Australia and hold a full Australian driver licence to be accepted for this job.

Weekend and Weekday shifts can be arranged. Full time, Part time and Casual shifts can be arranged.

We offer great working conditions and you're backed by an experienced team of support staff that know the taxi industry inside out.

We also train new taxi drivers. If you don't already have a taxi driver license then to be eligible you need to hold a full Australian driver license.

New taxi drivers will need to complete the following items to get a taxi license. It is a fast process and ACT Cabs will guide you:

1. Working with Vulnerable People Check (WWVP Check)

2. Medical Check

3. You will receive taxi specific training before you commence your job. Training takes four hours of your spare time at home and is fast and straight forward.

For new drivers who drive 50 or more shifts with ACT Cabs, we will reimburse the full cost of your WWVP Check, Medical Check and Driver Training/Uniform.

We are looking for enthusiastic persons who enjoy driving and will provide good customer service to our large customer base in Canberra.
