Our client is a leading Registered NDIS Disability Care provider based in Melbourne’s West, providing support to participants throughout all of Metro Melbourne and the Geelong region. They support inclusion and access for people with disabilities to mainstream and community-based activities and other government initiatives. Our client has a strong commitment to inclusivity, cultural diversity and supporting participants by respecting their culture, values and beliefs.We are on the hunt for an experienced and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join the team to provide high quality occupational therapy services to clients with disabilities, helping them to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

The Role:

Provide a range of supports and services (including home modifications and equipment prescription) to enable effective participation (of the NDIS Participants) in the occupations of everyday life.

Undertake assessments and provide intervention, liaising with families, teachers & other relevant stakeholders.

Reporting the progress and current status to appropriate parties, including family members, teachers, or medical professionals.

Perform initial evaluations of participants’ needs and develop customised therapy plans.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including clients, carers, and other health professionals.

Provide evidence-based therapy to clients.

What we're looking for:

Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline.

Current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration.

Demonstrated experience within the field.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, families, and stakeholders.

A passion for delivering client-centered care and supporting clients to achieve their goals.

A valid driver’s license.
