General Warehouse Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a General Warehouse Associate at our Tucker location.

Hours: 7:30 to 4:30 Monday to Friday

$17/hr (Temp to Perm)

Responsibilities:

- Perform materials handling tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, and organizing products in the warehouse

- Operate heavy equipment, including a sit-down propane forklift, to move and transport materials

- Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and ensure accurate stock levels

- Assist with inventory management by conducting regular cycle counts and reconciling discrepancies

- Collaborate with team members to fulfill customer orders by picking, packing, and preparing packages for shipment

- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient warehouse environment

Requirements:

-Self-starter with the ability to flex from one task to another

- Previous experience working in a distribution center or warehouse setting is preferred

- Proficient in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts and order pickers

- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and RF scanners is a plus

- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks throughout the workday

- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order picking and inventory management

- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues
