Job Description
Responsibilities:
The Warehouse Manager will supervise daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, order preparation & fulfillment.
Schedule and oversee drivers, and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime
Plan work routes, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results aiming for efficient delivery of orders.
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of equipment and materials by inspecting loaded trucks before they depart for deliveries.
Maintain accurate records of loaded trucks, deliveries, and any discrepancies or damage encountered during transportation.
Communicate back orders to the sales office promptly and accurately, recording them in the back-order logbook for reference.
Collaborate with other departments, such as Field staff, HR, Project Managers and Accounting, to ensure efficient and effective warehouse operations.
Maintain physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts, inspecting & calibrating equipment, issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement to ensure operational efficiency and adequate space utilization
Complying with federal, state, and warehousing legislation requirements by maintaining standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in order to enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts, calibration of equipment, reconciling with data storage system and producing reports (IN/OUT status report, dead stock reports, etc.) for the management of inventory levels.
Purchase and order parts, equipment, and materials required for projects.
Qualifications
Associates Degree
2 years+ construction skilled trades (Preferred)
Previous warehouse management experience (Preferred)
Tech savvy, must have experience using Microsoft Office
Strong problem-solving skills
Must be a self-performer with minimum guidance
Effective interpersonal and communication skills
Fluent in Spanish (Preferred)
Hours
9:00 am - 5:30 pm (Monday - Thursday), 8:00 am - 12:00 pm (Friday), 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm (Sunday)Company Description
