Job Description

```Duties```

- Use SolidWorks and other software to design and create tooling components

- Operate and maintain various machines such as lathes, milling machines, and CNC machines

- Perform electrical discharge machining (EDM) to shape and form metal parts

- Set up and operate stamping presses for production runs

- Conduct quality inspections to ensure precision and accuracy of finished products

- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to troubleshoot and resolve tooling issues

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

```Requirements```

- Proficient in the use of SolidWorks for tool design

- Strong knowledge of machining techniques, including lathe operation, milling, and CNC programming

- Familiarity with electrical discharge machining (EDM) processes

- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings

- Good mathematical skills for precise measurements and calculations

- Experience with plastics injection molding is a plus

- Knowledge of CAM programming is preferred

- Proficient in the use of hand tools for tool assembly and maintenance

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
