Caregiver Home Health Aide or Direct worker

Job Description

We have Direct Professional Worker openings in Spring Texas. Hours are 7am to 7pm and 7pm to 7am rotating weekends with two days on and two days off.

2pm to 10 pm our swing shift. Part Time 10am to 5pm

What Will You Be Doing?

You will provide non-medical assistance to the part of our senior residents needing assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs). This can include light housekeeping, meal preparation, providing engaging activities. Observing our residents and noting any changes and communicating effectively to management and health professionals.

Your duties will include but not limited to:

Meal Preparation and Planning

Light Housekeeping

Medication Reminders

Taking vitals and charting daily

Companionship to our residents

Bathing, Restroom Care, Dressing and Grooming

And Other Personal Care-Related Activities

Required Skills

Skills:

Great patient care to our residents

Great communicator and have critical thinking skills.

Willingness to learn and motivated to help others.

Hands on experience performing duties as outlined in summary, or formal training program completion.

Have 2 years of experience.

Preferred:

Ability to safely lift and transfer adults preferred.

HCA (Home Care Aide) current registry with the state preferred.

CNA and HHA license a plus

Experienced Patient Care or Direct Care worker with experience in a hospital, nursing or group home setting.

Must have a GED or higher education and be able to pass a background check. Please submit a resume for consideration.
