We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Financial Analyst in the manufacturing industry, located in Macon, Georgia, United States. The role involves managing customer credit operations, analyzing key performance indicators, and supporting cost reduction efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators related to financial activities.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate spending requirements and assist with the review and approval process for operating and capital expenditure requests.

• Support cost reduction initiatives by analyzing and identifying potential areas of savings.

• Process customer credit applications and maintain accurate credit records.

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate actions to collect delinquent payments.

• Prepare reports and presentations for finance management.

• Support the financial close process for entries and analysis related to financial operations.

• Use advanced Excel skills to reconcile large data sets and present complex data to stakeholders.

• Support Ad Hoc projects and analysis as needed.

• Uphold high ethical standards and adhere to internal controls and legal regulations.• Minimum of two years of experience in a Financial Analyst role within the Manufacturing industry

• Proficient in KPI Reporting and Cost Reduction Analysis

• Experience with Cost Reductions, OPEX, and CapEx

• Demonstrable knowledge of the Financial Close Process

• Ability to perform Ad Hoc Analysis

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong problem solving and analytical skills

• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

• Knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis

• Well informed in current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, money market, and business environments.
