We are hiring a Business Intelligence (BI) Consultant in the healthcare industry, based in Sunrise, Florida. This role involves developing new reports, identifying data quality issues, and assisting in enhancing project backlogs. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deploy new reports using SSRS, Power BI, Excel, Pyramid Analytics, and other BI Tools to meet the reporting needs of the organization.

• Perform BI reporting development life cycle, including identifying Subject Matter Experts, gathering requirements, and implementing solutions.

• Design, develop, modify, and implement reports using Excel and/or SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).

• Create complex T-SQL queries for data extracts to create a large volume of SSRS and ad-hoc reports.

• Proactively identify data quality issues, coordinate root cause analysis, implement fixes, and perform QA validations to build exception reporting where needed.

• Provide project status updates, feedback, and appropriate reporting on responsibilities to management.

• Resolve performance issues by performing data integrity and audit checks to ensure accuracy of reports.

• Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing reports and develop strategies for enhancing report performance.

• Participate in peer reviews and contribute to improving project backlogs.

• Work with Business Teams to understand each department's unique reporting requirements and assist in the development of reports.

• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and other training.• Proficiency in Business Intelligence (BI) is crucial for this role.

• Extensive experience with Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools (BIRT) is required.

• Proficiency in using Business Intelligence Technologies is a mandatory requirement.

• Solid experience with Microsoft Power BI and Tableau is essential.

• Familiarity with ETL (Extract Transform Load) processes and Data Warehousing is needed.

• Strong knowledge of SSIS SSRS is a requirement for this role.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft SQL Server is desired.

• The ability to work in a team, as well as independently, is important.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for this role.

• The ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines is a requirement.

• A good understanding of the healthcare industry is preferred.

• Problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically are crucial.

• The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information is required.
