Job Description

We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in STREETSBORO, Ohio, 44241-4534, United States. As a Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will be expected to handle Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Journal Entries, General Ledger, and Quickbooks Online transactions. You will also manage Microsoft Excel data, perform Month End Close tasks, and process Credit Memos. This role is crucial in the financial maintenance of our company and requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer credit applications and maintain customer credit records

• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP)

• Prepare and post Journal Entries

• Maintain and manage the General Ledger

• Utilize Quickbooks Online for financial transactions and data management

• Use Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze financial data

• Execute Month End Close tasks in an efficient and timely manner

• Process Credit Memos and handle any related inquiries or issues

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take necessary action to collect delinquent payments

• Handle other financial duties as assigned, including cutting checks, collections, and month-end tasks.• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Full Charge Bookkeeper role or similar capacity.

• Proven experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).

• Proficiency in creating and managing Journal Entries.

• Demonstrated understanding and application of General Ledger.

• Proficiency in Quickbooks Online and Microsoft Excel.

• Experience with Month End Close processes.

• Familiarity with issuing and managing Credit Memos.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
