Compensation Range:

$17.00 - $25.91

Position Summary:

TRADESWORKER I

Required Qualifications:

Vocational or other technical school, certification, training or apprenticeship beyond High School or GED and

Two years of prior-related work experience.

May substitute at least one additional year of prior-related work experience for the vocational or other technical school, certification, training or apprenticeship beyond High School or GED.

Job Description:

Maintains and repairs all College facilities to include one or more of the following trade activities:

1. Minor indoor and outdoor painting.

2. Repair plumbing and replace plumbing fixtures.

3. Hang interior and exterior doors and door frames.

4. Replace ceiling tiles.

5. Patch and hang drywall.

6. Order and replace broken and missing ceramic tile.

7. Repair holes in existing walls.

8. Replace baseboards.

9. Performs other similar and related duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in:

1. Electrical trade

2. Carpentry trade

3. Plumbing trade

4. Painting

5. General maintenance and construction
