SAFETY MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION HUMAN RESOURCES/SAFETY GENERALIST POSITION The Burks Companies, Inc.

(TBC) is looking to hire a full-time SAFETY GENERALIST.

Are you an energetic, get-it-done person who is looking for full-time work?

This job earns $45 - $50,000 annual salary, depending on experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Safety and Training * Prepares and documents all information to comply with the OSHA injury reporting regulations in compliance with The Burks Companies Records Management Policy and Procedures; * Responsible for maintaining a general awareness of the Burks Companies Emergency Management Program; * Tracks all safety related training and prepares monthly reports and analysis in a timely manner; * Responsible for handling all related job responsibilities in accordance to TBC's Environmental Policy, relevant Standard Operating Procedures, and Emergency Management Plan.

* Assists in the development of new procedures as needed.

Knowledge and Skills Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of personnel administration, effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills.

Strong analytical mind with an aptitude for numbers.

Ability to work in a complex challenging and sensitive environment.

Exceptional skill in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook). High level of technology literacy/competency.
