Job Summary:

An Integration Center Tech I is an entry level technician working with in a large team to complete customer orders. This tech will work on various computer systems and technologies to perform configurations, integrations, system upgrades, and asset management. This position reports directly to the Lead Integration Tech and is primarily responsible for basic technical configurations (see job responsibilities for details), kitting, and custom labeling.

Responsibilities:

Include but not limited to:

System Imaging (using ghost, USB boot, PXE boot, etc.)

Computer hardware installation/upgrades (including but not limited to memory, hard drives, and NICs)

Software/OS configurations on various computer and mobile devices

BIOS configurations and upgrades

Constant use of AX (Microsoft Dynamics) for order tracking, check in/out, asset information recording, etc

Asset tagging and asset management

Communicate and escalate with management on a regular basis in regard to customer orders

Unpacking, packing, and kitting of hardware and components

Independently acquire additional skills to maintain technical competencies

Qualifications:

6 months disassembling and/or assembling computers and configuring Windows operating systems

Associate degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer systems Networking, Computer Systems Analysis, successful completion of accredited trade school computer training program or relevant work experience required

Required Skills:

Ability to take initiative

Ability to work independently and in groups depending on project needs

Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Outlook

Effective verbal and written communication

Ability to explain technical information such as networking information, system errors, and OS configurations in layman’s terms

Ability to read and interpret technical instructions/manuals, troubleshooting guides, and manufacturer specifications

Ability to learn additional skills to maintain technical competencies

Additional Information:

The estimated annual pay range for this position is $39,000 - $50,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
