The Role

This is a fixed term 12 month contract

Operating from either our Malton or Banff site, an opportunity has arisen for a capable and organised individual to join our team and support the smooth running of the Agriculture Administration function. Karro Agriculture produces 12,500 baby pigs every week, half of which are retained by Karro, reared to slaughter weight and sold to Malton Factory.

A key element of this role is to being able to challenge information that does not seem correct and investigate, working with the wider team. The Admin Assistant will work closely with the Production & Performance Coordinator, Agriculture Director, Finance team and field staff in this role. In addition, the Admin Assistant will assist in other administration for the rearing operation.

Key Accountabilities

Organise information from a number of sources, mostly spreadsheets into performance reports for the rearing farms in a timely manner to set deadlines.

Responsible for production of the performance reporting (Batch Monitors) of rearing units.

Collate data from a number of sources such as financials and stock information.

Present data to operational managers on a weekly basis to enable them to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Communicate results to operation teams at weekly meetings and follow up on further actions

Present summaries of Rearer performance to Agri team at weekly team meeting
