Reyes Fleet Management (RFM) is an essential part of Reyes Holdings. RFM services and maintains the fleet of trucks and equipment for the Reyes Family of Businesses. We are one of the largest fleets in the United States, working within our business unit distribution centers across the nation. We partner with our internal customers in the areas of asset management, safety and compliance, and training. Our goal is to assist in the reduction of cost and risk throughout the Reyes Family of Businesses. In addition to our world-class support, we also manage Reyes Academy – a state-of-the-art training facility in Fredericksburg, Virginia that trains 600+ professional drivers a year as well as transportation and other operations management.

Responsibilities:

Reyes Fleet Management is seeking a Mobile Facilities Technician A to help with racking repairs and maintenance throughout the region based out of Stockton, CA. This position requires the ability to travel 100% Monday-Friday across multiple sites throughout region.

Shift: Full-Time l Monday-Friday-1st Shift -Occasional weekends

Pay: Up to $35.00/HR based on skills and qualifications

Position Summary: The Facilities Maintenance Technician A is responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks in one or more fields (e.g., construction, electrical, heating ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, etc.). As well as assists with inspections and tours of the facilities, providing preventive maintenance services and institutes corrective action on any deficiencies. Facilities Maintenance Technicians also performs general cleaning and other tasks as assigned to ensure minimal interruption to the operations of the facility. Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to: Perform preventative maintenance and repairs to meet required regulations and scheduling

Assist Facility Manager in managing building maintenance activities

Tests faulty equipment and applies knowledge of functional operation and systems to diagnose cause of malfunction

Provide supervision and guidance for a Maintenance Technician B and Trainee

Perform maintenance skills including but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting on production and building equipment

Perform building related installation and maintenance including, but not limited to furniture assembly, data/ power installations, plumbing and lighting repair

Paint, remodel, refurbish areas as needed

Maintain interior and exterior of property

Repair, maintain/monitor all equipment and amenities

Monitor and maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and modifications

Keep areas clean and organized, including cleaning dock levelers, dock bays, pressure washing building surfaces, cleaning HVAC systems (interior and exterior) maintaining a clean maintenance department

Respond immediately to emergency situations and customer service requests as assigned

Use a variety of hand and power tools to complete maintenance and repair tasks

Operate a forklift, aerial lift, and heavy equipment to assist in heavy lifting maintenance procedures and repairs

Function as liaison with outside vendors as needed

Communicate daily with Maintenance Manager and team with respect to repairs, faulty operations, defective materials, or parts and incident reports when necessary

Any other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Required Skills and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)

Minimum of 3+ years of experience in building maintenance or other related field

Recent training and working knowledge in multiple areas of building maintenance including, storage system (racking), electrical, plumbing, welding, and hydraulics.

General knowledge of OSHA requirements in a warehouse environment

Ability to be forklift certified

Ability to read building schematics and blueprints

Must possess own tools (have minimum tool requirement)

Valid Driver’s License to operate applicable company vehicles

Acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations

Ability to work any schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to be able to converse with the public, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official questions, and be able to make legible entries on reports and records

Ability to frequently lift, push and/or pull weights in excess of 50 pounds, occasionally lift, push and/or pull weights in excess of 100 pounds

Some travel may be required

Must be able to work indoors or outdoors in varying weather conditions, temperature conditions and varying heights safely

Ability to utilize an onboard computer and desktop computer (PC, Windows, Microsoft Programs, etc.)

This position must pass post-offer background and drug test

Preferred Skills and Experience: Trade school diploma or certification

Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)

General facilities technical certifications and/or verified training is desirable

International Facility Management Association (IFMA) Certification is desirable

Society for Maintenance and Reliability Professionals Certification (SMRP) is desirable

Asset Management Professionals Certification is desirable (AMP)

Recent training and working knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems, generators, robotics, dock levelers, OHD maintenance and fire suppression systems

Ability to troubleshoot problems effectively
